San Ramon Veterinary Hospital Diagnostic Imaging
Both x-rays and ultrasound can detect or confirm many internal diseases such as:
  • soft tissue disease
  • hip displasia
  • chest and abdominal disease
  • bone fractures
  • objects in the stomach or intestine
  • obstruction in the urinary or intestinal tract
Ultrasound enables us to see organs as they function — like a movie — as opposed to a radiograph, which is like a still photo.
